I have two puppies about 7 weeks old. I’ve never owned a dog. Can the puppies be outside, what’s the best food, how soon should I try to train them to go out to use the bathroom, should I enroll them in puppy training school. HELP PLEASE

My puppies eat their training pads!?

Posted by: Admin | Comments (6)

My two puppies (cockerspaniel/shitzus) chew on on the puppy training pads! I make sure they are put beside the pad so they get the scent, but they start chewing on it! They get white fluff everywhere. Is it toxic? Ive checked the package, but i’m still not sure.

They are both boys. We want to train them so we can get them to pee/poop outside, and still be able to keep them inside, free to roam around. So far, we don’t let them free in the carpeted area of the house, but we sometimes let them play around in the blocked out kitchen. It seems to work, but right when I unblock the kitchen, the first thing that seems to happen is they rush to one of the bedrooms and pee there.

Please help!

Tips on training German Shepard puppies?

Posted by: Admin | Comments (8)

I adopted the most beautiful little German Shepard puppies from an animal shelter and I want to be a great mom to them.

However, I’m finding it hard to train them because everytime they do something "bad" I don’t want them feeling like I hate them or anything. I do want them to learn how to be good dogs, though, just not in a harsh way.

Can anyone give me some good tips on puppy training and tough-love?

I need to know the basics like:
1. How to walk them without them pulling away
2. How to train them not to potty in the house
3. How not to bark consistantly
& Any other advice anyone could give me!

Thank you!
You can be a mom to your pets. Using the term "owner" makes it seem like you can own a life. No one can "own" a life.
